Too many nutrients are entering Lake Simcoe. The biggest household contributor is run-off from yards, primarily phosphorus from fertilizers.

The WAVE is an action program to help residents —community by community, home by home—make their yards more water-friendly. The WAVE is the first educational project of the Rescue Lake Simcoe Coalition, a three-year-old citizens group.
